The Cologne violinist Francesca Reyter studied chamber music, orchestral playing & music education and has been head of the strings department at the Voreifel Music School since 2021.
She has gained international recognition as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonics
and the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
She has developed her artistic orientation, which also includes jazz and pop, through lessons with Zach Brock (Snarky Puppy), Tracy Silverman (Turtle Island String Quartet) and at the Bloom School of Jazz (Chicago).
Her solo project "Beats & Bows" reveals her affinity for sounds and effects.
Here she creates exciting groove-based live performances using a 6-string electric violin, a loop station and various effects devices. She also invites various guests, such as Kevin O'Neal, the multiple German beatboxing champion.
As a sought-after performer and studio musician, Francesca Reyter works nationwide and collaborates with various artists and bands (such as Micheal Bublé, Melvin Lee Davis, Johannes Oerding, Wirtz).
